Huntington's disease is a condition that stops parts of the brain working properly over time. It's passed on (inherited) from a person's parents. WhentogetmedicaladviceSpeaktoyourGPforadviceif:you'reworriedyoumighthavesymptomsofHuntington'sdisease–especiallyifsomeoneinyourfamilyhasorhadityouhaveahistoryoftheconditioninyourfamilyandyouwanttofindoutifyouwillgetit,tooyouhaveahistoryoftheconditioninyourfamilyandyou'replanningapregnancyYourGPmayreferyoutoaspecialistforteststocheckforHuntington'sdisease.
