Infact,tea,overall,isarelativelynewconceptbelievedtohavebeenbroughtovertoThailandsometimeinthe1980sfromChina.Createdsome30yearsago,traditionalversionsconsistedofblacktea,condensedmilk,andcrushedice. ItwasatthistimethatThaiTea,ชาเย็น(knownasChaYen) becameastapleofThaistreetfood.  ButiftraditionalThaiteaismadewithblacktea,sweetenedcondensedmilk,andcrushedice,thenwhyisitorange?Andwhataboutallthosespices?
