Requiringmediaorprofileedits: Ifanaccount’sprofileormediacontentisnotcompliantwithourpolicies,wemaymakeittemporarilyunavailableandrequirethattheviolatoreditthemediaorinformationintheirprofiletocomplywithourrules.Wealsoexplainwhichpolicytheirprofileormediacontenthasviolated.   Verifyingaccountownership:Toensurethatviolatorsdonotabusetheanonymityweofferandharassothersontheplatform,wemayrequiretheaccountownertoverifyownershipwithaphonenumberoremailaddress.Thisalsohelpsusidentifyviolatorswhoareoperatingmultipleaccountsforabusivepurposesandtakeactiononsuchaccounts.Notethatwhenanaccounthasbeenlockedpendingcompletionofachallenge(suchasbeingrequiredtoprovideaphonenumber),itisremovedfromfollowercounts,Retweets,andlikesuntilaphonenumberisprovided.   Deactivatedaccounts:Accountownershavetheabilitytodeactivatetheiraccountatanytime.Whenanaccountownerdeactivatestheiraccount,thepagewillberenderedasunavailable.   Permanentsuspension:Thisisourmostsevereenforcementaction.Permanentlysuspendinganaccountwillremoveitfromview,andtheviolatorwillnotbeallowedtocreatenewaccounts.Whenwepermanentlysuspendanaccount,wenotifypeoplethattheyhavebeensuspendedforabuseviolations,andexplainwhichpolicyorpoliciestheyhaveviolatedandwhichcontentwasinviolation.
